“Good and Bad Assignment"

Good Design

Design features:

Text:
Summarize the qualities of the use of type that make a website successful.

Background doesn't interfere with the type. Type isn't in all bold, italics, underlined. Make sure type isn't to big.

Navigation: Summarize the qualities of the navigation that make a website successful.

Don't use mystery meat navigation, because having to have the mouse hoover can and will get confusing.
Opening your web page in a new window makes for confusing because you can't navigate backwards with arrow keys.
Make sure navigation is consistent throughout.

Links: Summarize the qualities of the links, and their behavior that make a website successful.

Link color should be consistent with the pages they are located on. Links should be obviously appear to be links and underline. The destination of the link should be clear and make sure the links page should still be active.

What a day....

Getting back in the grove isn't always easy after an extended vacation. A little overwhelming but I think I am there. Today I was able to enjoy an amazing day after a busy, busy week at work and school. After a few errands and a cup of coffee with a friend and a hair cut for my puppy, I had time to do what I love which is photography. It was a beautiful day today. Alina is awesome, I really appreciate the help when I am in need of models. I can't wait for more days like this!
